Yet another must-be article about <<{PVP}>> member

Today I had to lock the discussion under the introductory article of <<{PVP}>> clan, because their members had been coming here and using inappropriate language. They complained we accused them of cheats unjustly. Few moments later I checked their web and saw a link to their new blog. And what I found there was the most astonishing self-bust ever. Check second picture in this section where they say they are using admin panel. In the back-ground on the left side of the screen you can see white small square in a bigger grey transparent square. Radar. This further proves how endlessly stupid cheaters can be. Because the screen will be probably removed after they see this article, I made a copy:

Will this finally open their leader's eyes?

UPDATE:
As you already know, Casey and StoneCold erased the proof. But they did is so stupidly that at first they only removed the white square, but transparent radar square was still unedited. On top of it, they started claiming it was us who used photoshop, and the original is on their web (you can see their lies in their old chatbox). Later they removed the whole blog and the poorly edited picture was on gallery in their website. After they saw we are having fun on their brainlessness, they removed it also from there.

And here is another quality stuff from StoneCold. Few days before this article, he joined ||ESA|| server with my nickname and he conducted an "interview". Look at the questions he asked (taken from server logs thanks to ||ESA|| clan):

^TF^Clan leader Bazz busted on his own server

^TF^Clan was created only recently, focusing on CO-OP mode and custom maps. They also proclaimed to be strictly against cheating. Unfortunately they were so strict that more clean players were banned unjustly. Yesterday they had their first match in BS mode against pFF and surprisingly, clan leader Bazz got busted with aimbot/wallhack running on his PC. He immediately came up with a story of "someone called max who came through my team speak and injected something onto my computer". UAC logs reveal he had folder "C:\Users\Richard\Desktop\Aimbot\" on his PC, so this story, to put it mildly, can be credible only to the naive.

Recently a new trend emerged of more cheaters caught on TSS than on 1.0/1.1. {KGB} clan had to deal with another cheater in their ranks, this time a recruit called Justice. He was kicked almost immediately.

Clan bOmBeR MasTeRz (tag BM|) recruited a player called AkAHawk (xfire: jjhawky) who was caught on UAC with all possible cheats in his game folder (account 1, account 2, account 3). Noteworthy could be they also recruited two players with cheating history who are also members of pFF clan - Achint and Diablo.

Turkish wierdo BoSS Legend (xfire: vietmusou) was also busted. From time to time he starts some ridiculous clan like NwA, so better avoid him.

Cheaters report - September 2013

While there is a big bustwave for other games going on right now on UAC, list of SWAT4 cheaters is not growing much anymore. Nevertheless there was enough of unfair players for this article

Achint was busted with multicheat a month ago. If you see him claiming this was a bug, don't believe him, he very well knew what he was trying there. Despite of this, he was accepted to XF clan soon after, which further proved that this clan is prone to giving second chances.

On TSS, one of many {KGB} leading members Elio was caught on UAC without any consequences towards him. EDIT: after reading this article, clan representatives decided to kick Elio, though they believed he hadn't cheated intentionally but had been a victim of a corrupted game download.

To support its reputation of the clan with a ridiculous recruitment process, two more cheaters were recently accepted to «|SoH|»clan. One is Oops_WaWa alias «|T3F|»Crow_Man, reported on S4N before. See his application topic here. Another one is Polish "star" AssasinsCred, recently going by the name of Cezar through clans like JF and DoK. His application topic is to be seen here.

Latest UAC catch is a FUN clan recruit Ninja. If you remember article about FUN leader Jahr cheating, then we probably can't expect any punishment here.

As a bonus, we must mention Speedycort. Firstly he was reported by other players. His reaction was creating rage and contra-accusation topic on SH and 4U websites. Later, though he was careful to turn his cheats off before joining UAC, one of his screen captured his desktop with a lovely SWAT4 Aimbot icon on it.

DExUS announces UAC closure

After catching 9000 cheaters across multiple games (including 1000+ in SWAT), DExUS today publicly announced that UAC will close on the 1st of January, 2014. The main reason cited was the lack of free time to continue providing quality daily service. With over 290,000 registered users, the news is a hammer blow for all the fairplay gamers out there, although the cheating scum will be having a party tonight.

The only safe way not to get busted is playing clean

You can come across resources claiming to be able to bypass UAC3. Some of them even work to certain extent but you should know, that each one that I am aware of can be recognized by deeper investigation even when screen-shots appear to be clean. And who was tempted to try?
  • Let's start with 1.1 player Franek (xfire: ilovefw), whose cheats were also visible on the screens.
  • It's already boring to mention Pяøтέсн member pR1maA (xfire: zdimo) who cheated on UAC account buldog lately. Strange is that he shared this account with <|Animal|>Pandinho (xfire: DarkGhost1982). While Franek was added to blacklist on the team forum we will see if they take same action against their own member, who has now been caught at least 3 times with cheats.
  • Other people trying to bypass the anticheat include notorious cheaters Stanec and CJ, «SoH»Lightman and one insignificant player from Brasil.
Let's continue with "regular" cheaters:
  • A French bossdu62 turned on his cheats while playing on HoP server and after he set an xfire status complaining about HoP admins. Maybe you will meet this cheater with name nRx|Adidas.
  • As a bonus, after 6 months a new cheater was caught on TSS, member of Freedom Fighters clan Salix (xfire: salixtr).

Killerneo busted

Providing UAC donator statuses to our readers for free starts to look like a bad idea. After a case from April another fool got busted today. »Bromance|Killer (xfire: Killerneo1234) was caught by UAC on his new account while he has also another account that was donated by S4N. Thus be becomes the third member of »Bromance team with unclean UAC register.

URT cheating legacy continues

One more player from URT clan - Kalbar (xfire kalbar10001) - has been busted on UAC. He is a 1.1 player who recently joined URT. According to the leader Reisp, Kalbar moved to 1.0 for which he downloaded this game, and he didn't know that the file contained cheats.  The incident was then escalated to the UAC forums, with |XF| member Satan strangely suggesting that the detected file hook.dll was a virus and not a cheat.

|FUN| founder JAHR succumbs to cheats (again)

Founder and leader of |FUN| clan JAHR (xfire jahr1977) got busted by UAC more than two years ago. He continued using his marked profile without further incidents. Until today, when he created a new account with symptomatic name prueba123456. Quite a bad example for his clan mates, ain't it?  But well, he is not the only clan founder with dirty history.

«ß29» ex-leader busted and joining «|SoH|»

Stargate (xfire: sassi74), leader of now inactive RD clan «ß29», was caught cheating yesterday. Shortly before this incident he applied to «|SoH|» under the name LightMan. By now, he is already accepted to this infamous clan which is just another proof of absolutely pathetic recruitment that only some Polish clans can compete with.

Dubious start, silly continuation

Two clans built on bad leadership and poor recruiting process were mentioned recently - |URT| and BoS. How are they doing now?

We issued a warning regarding the first one in the article from April. Since then, two more of their players were busted. First, it was Neitan in a clanwar vs JustFrags. Later, the co-leader Ronnie (xfire: drunkenmaster40) followed him. Clan leader Reisp reacted with his expulsion from the clan. Well done I hear you say? No way in |URT|. On the very next day Ronnie reapplied to the clan and was given a recruit rank. Also, he is in |URT| roster for a new Polish BS 3vs3 league (though that most probably will be just another unsuccessful tournament attempt). Attitude of all 1.0 Polish clans towards cheating is benevolent. Clans like |URT|, DoK|» and recently also JustFrags welcome proven cheaters with open arms.

BoS clan did not attract much players since its rebirth. And from the few, a Honduran called SkrillexXx was busted by UAC. By now, he is still in the clan and the only reaction of clan leader upon hearing this was "lol".

UAC "donator" busted

One of the 22 people that were given UAC3 donator status by our blog was caught cheating today - ironically by UAC. Ex-member of {|GA|} known as AngelFire who recently applied to |URT| under the name Natokilller was caught with two accounts in short sequence - link1, link2. Because we feel personally offended by this (reportedly) girl we publish not only xfire name loliip0p but also IP range - make a good deed and ban 39.53.*.*.

RDM-KDM, superadmin in Suspects Heaven, failed in his UAC bypass attempt. After 3-days-long discussion within the community, he was kicked. Eye-opener - don't trust each and every YouTube video.

Finally, one video to give your day some colours. Player using name {FAB}TUNA using wallhack on {KL} server, but he is still active on more 1.0 VIP servers. IP is from Saudi Arabia (is there any clean player from this country?), however we are unsure if he is a name-stealer or real member of {FAB}. Inform us if you know.

Cheaters report

It's been some time since the previous cheaters watch, so who were the sinners in the last month?

- Member of FBI community bbobov4 with his UAC name genna.

- HoP server player |PB|_Lysy_ had over 2000 clean screens on UAC until he decided to change that with his account expower.

- Former {SWT} member bunnyhoppermkd was caught twice. After his première he continued cheating mainly on SH server by running game on one PC and UAC on another. Thanks to the fact that admins did not ask him to upload screens he could do that until he was caught for the second time.

- DoK|»Pionnier was the first UAC victim of JF RD tournament, causing his team this loose by contumacy.

- »Cartel«Soap (xfire: percy93) was second "star" of the same tournament. Luckily for his now ex-clan, opponent agreed on rematch without this looser. Later he tried joining {SWT}, but got denied just to be accepted to |URT| clan soon after.

- Speaking of |URT| this is the first clan we would like to warn you about (btw not for the first time). Their players change names often and they accept players with cheating history without questions. Some of them accuse of cheats, but they themselves refuse to join UAC. Our recommendation is to ask them to join UAC automatically and if they refuse to do so immediately, take further admin actions.

- Second team that has a high number of people from UAC cheaters list is 2pro4u playing 1.1 mostly. Looking at their roster half of them has a cheating record, so once they ask you for a match, insist on playing with UAC (note that some of them won't be able to do so due to HW ban).

XfireLeaks: even some skilled players use cheats

A scrap of xfire conversation shows that even players who could enjoy being considered as TOP, sometimes choose the wrong path instead and thus ruin their own reputation. Our example shows a |»Delta«| member Bjoggi (xfire: bjoggi94) speaking about using modified INI files giving him advantage in lower recoil, better shooting accuracy, stronger bullets and faster leaning. I am baffled how can he claim this is not cheating?

«|T3F|» affection for cheating

After writing about cheaters here I usually inform clans on their own websites as well. Some clans kick such members immediately, others ignore you for some time and some even ban you. This last group has been recently reinforced by «|T3F|» clan. Their proud member Digital_Eyes was introduced in an article a week ago. What happened after I made a post on their website? It got deleted, Digital_Eyes changed his website name to Crow_Man, still wearing the tag. I pointed that out again in their chatbox. Soon I found myself banned and post deleted. Person who did that was Jack, «|T3F|» admin and probably leader/one of leaders. Since then, Digital_Eyes has been happily cheating on 1.0 servers, wearing different names, for example «|T3F|»Bad_boy. Which VIP clan does this approach to cheaters in own ranks remind you?

CORRECTED:
Player using UAC names "n00biz", "Stela" or "Stelaru" and some more created a profile with name "primaa". He used a Moroccan proxy server when he got detected, that's why at first sight it seemed that 1.1 player from Morocco known as primaaa (xfire: zdimo) scored his 3rd UAC cheat account. After a closer look it seems, that the man behind this is "Stela - member of {OS} clan".

Will the last player of SWAT4 be a cheater?

Player formerly known as Styxer has achieved his 3rd cheat account on UAC. On the same day he created a new xfire Stanec. He was shortly in B3STofSVK&CZE&EU^^ team. Btw, all UAC-caught cheaters from Slovakia are or were members of this team (other two are Titan/Tomasek/Undersound and Jozoo/Free).

Zeidorf (xfire: artkrasav4ik), who was accepted to <RUS1> recently despite of warnings about his dubious past, is now a confirmed cheater. And though he was playing undercover he is not amongst the lucky who have highly dynamic IP, so it was easy to identify him. I made these two videos today - one where he was using long-arms and one with no-recoil.

«|T3F|»Digital_Eyes (xfire: waheebalnoty) is the latest addition to UAC cheaters list. You can remember him with name Dr_Mega in T3 clan, where he got a kick for - what else - cheating as we informed here.

I hope you noticed a new a list of current "threats" present on the right side of the blog. It contains cheating players who are active on servers these days so you can range ban them or at least stay vigilant. Maybe you find it useful.

Effective fight against cheaters in {|GA|} clan

Rarely we praise here for attitude towards cheaters, but seeing the actions taken in Guardian Angels clan to prevent cheating we do now. Apart from UAC check these guys go further. Their usual methods include checking of players during game play, they take seriously cheating reports made by other players and even use TeamViewer to find cheats on applicant's computers which has proved to be especially effective several times already. Last prey of this hunt was a player from exotic Sri Lanka named LKwarrior (UAC: LKwarrior, xfire: ravinath). In the past, they were similarly successful in catching other applicants Winter, Hunter, MarrY and Farid (who was later accepted to SH community).

Question every clan representative should ask himself: Is there something that attracts these losers to join {|GA|}, as they represent around 50% of all their applicants? Or the situation is likely to be similar in many other clans, but due to insufficient or completely absent precautions those cheaters remain veiled?

UAC xmas presents

Summary of latest UAC cheaters:
Regarding the quiz question on the right side, unfortunately the only correct answer is the last one. All of those clans have players who were caught by UAC. And honestly, some votes seem like pure trolling.

|»DFX«| moves to 1.0, cheaters still inside

New Polish 1.0 clan emerged on the scene. New meaning having new name and old cheaters inside. Let's have a closer look. They are named {EsH} Elite Squad Hooligans. Cheaters in it come from |»DFX«| clan, which was its predecessor on 1.1. Now, looking for a new home they landed on 1.0 soil. {EsH}Czapa is no one else than |»DFX«|Johnny introduced on our blog recently. While playing on their BS server for a couple of rounds, I noticed {EsH}Angel having no-recoil. And now comes the funny part - I got banned because these two (plus some |URT|Malina) accused me of cheating. Their admin Wujek (also ex-DFX), joined server and banned me instantly. Apparently, he has high trust in cheaters though they killed his previous clan. For all fair players in this clan this should be a message on what team-mates they have.

UPDATE: another ESH player jasiek was caught by UAC during match against HAVOC team - link.

Maanas caught by UAC, K4E exleader busted again

Remember the article showing Maanas with no-recoil? This guy, boasting with cheating while using names of other players (including mine), got caught also by UAC yesterday upon joining "suspectsheaven" matchid. He used the same account "new2swat" that he had registered for the IST team in the KL VIP tournament. Funny is that right after being caught he checked this blog if there is any info on this already. Well Maanas, sorry I let you wait for your next 15 minutes of shame.

Ex-leader of  |K4E|Kill4Enemy clan Paradox joined clan with similar tag - |K44| and changed his nickname to NeXuS. Shortly he was also in JP clan lead by another multicheater reported on this blog recently. It seems that every December Paradox is struck by inevitable urge to cheat. His previous catch was almost exactly a year ago with name dragio30009, last week he successfully added his current account Paradoxxx111 to the cheaters list.

UAC3 anticheat usage tips - Part 2/2

Let's continue in UAC usage tips started here. Today it will focus on match review on UAC website. i am assuming that you found your match already and see something like this:
Remember, every icon has a tooltip describing its meaning, so only the most important are explained here. The screen above consists of 2 main sections:

A. List of players (upper section):

  • Player tag (if he set it in his profile) name with status icon and country flag
  • Date and time of first and last player activity on the given match ID
  • Number of scans
  • Cheat status of player's screens in the given match ID. For cheaters (on any match id), also a cheater icon is displayed.
  • Tools icons:
    • Player icon linking to his profile

    • Screenshot icon. Interesting only when blue square is displayed, which means that player made no screens at all on the given match
    • Session icons, possible icons are:
      • Player had only one session in this match (no UAC restart, all was OK)
      • Player had more sessions in this match (all of them were finished correctly)
      • At least one session of this player on the given match ID was interrupted unexpectedly (UAC process crashed or was kill by the player).

    Sessions detail
None of these session icons is necessarily suspicious, but the latter two require further investigation. To do so, click on the icon to see session log of the player. You will see a list of something like this:
Here you can see details of each session of the selected player in the current match - when it started and stopped, it it was stopped normally (blue icon) or killed (pink icon). Focus on time gaps between separate sessions. On a matchid used for public server game-play it is perfectly okay to have high gaps, meaning the player uses the same match id repeatedly when he plays on a certain server. But in a match created for a clan war this might mean that player was not using UAC all the time. Gap lasting couple of minutes is okay (game or UAC crashed), but lasting for a significant part of the match is probably not.

    B. List of scans (lower section):

After the match make sure the player uploaded his screens. UAC detects cheats also without this upload, but the player can use one PC to run game and another to run UAC. Unless he uploads screens and you check they are taken from the expected game server such UAC check can be useless. You do this in this section where you can see list of all screens made by players in the match:
    • Player name with status icon and flag
    • Screen date and time
    • Scan result icon (clean/cheat)
    • Colour flag icon (indicates how many times a screen was flagged by users. Other colour than green is then inspected by UAC admins)
    • Tools:
      • link to open the screen in UAC application, providing it was uploaded
      • icon indicating that the screen was not uploaded properly (or if the match is older than cca 3 weeks that it was already deleted to save database space - in this case you cannot blame the player)
So that's it. To sum it up focus on the following:
    • number of screens made by a player
    • his session log to see when he was/wasn't using UAC
    • if he uploaded screens or not
    Questions?

    UAC3 anticheat usage tips - Part 1/2

This article is the first part of a double article focusing on UAC3 anticheat usage. Note that its aim is not to replace UAC manual that can be found here. Rather it wants to give you some tips to avoid common mistakes I witness when other players try checking someone on UAC. Some boring theory to begin with:

Difference between UAC name, UAC ID, match ID
    • UAC name is a name chosen by a player during registration. In UAC3 it cannot be changed, in UAC4 it is promised to be modifiable. For example "Noob99".
    • UAC ID is a number assigned to your account by UAC player database during creation. One UAC name = one UAC ID. Example - "290105".
    • match ID is the string chosen by players before a match (e.g. "prosvsnoobs"). Technically, match ID is a number assigned to the chosen matchname by UAC match database. But because this match ID is not commonly used (only in match URL), when referring to match ID usually match name is in mind.
UAC name, UAC ID and also match name can be searched for using search form on UAC website.

Now let's say you ask a player to join matchid "test". He says he joined it, how can you check it?

Easiest way is by visiting UAC website. You can use the search form to find the agreed match name. But often people make mistakes when typing match names. In that case it's useful to click Matches and check the recent SWAT4 matches if there is not some similar match name (or check all recent matches if there is not the player you are interested in - it won't be more than 5 matches to check). Another way is turning on UAC app, writing the same matchid and clicking "refresh" (you don't need to join the match to see connected players). There should be written "Active" next to the player name you are interested in.

Did you find your match name and the player on it? Next steps will be a bit more interesting focusing on checks after the match. Read it here.

Cheaters still active, UAC history check can help

Have you seen a tag "TooLow4U" recently? I saw two such players, one of them is a punk with xfire account "fck17". He was in K4E before and this Saturday he tried to join «|SoH|». You should know that he is a notorious cheater (link, link, link and he has some more). Thought he changes names often, you can easily recognize him after you kill him one or two times - he starts saying "aimbot" or "go UAC" but he himself refuses to go. It is probably too hard to understand for him that even with aimbot he sucks.

To avoid such people intruding into your clan, let me remind you that you can ask me or Pimp to check UAC history of your recruits/members. All we need is her/his UAC account provided in the application topic. Sometimes also IP address can be enough. This check is not working in 100%, but at least in some 90% it can give you usefull information to avoid accepting a cheater or multiclanner.

    |SKY|EthaN is a different type of cheater, playing on House of Pain and Suspects Heaven servers mostly. There is a video made a half year ago by Jax_51 proving he was cheating with no-recoil. These days it is harder to say if he is cheating or not. Sometimes he is on UAC, but when I asked him to join he ignored it. Ignorance is in general his approach to any recall to his cheating. There was a discussion on HoP shoutbox about him and he did not bother to participate in it, though he is a member of SKY clan (=HoP). Would you trust such a person?

Space busted by x-fire screen, |»DFX«| admin by UAC

    |»DFX«| clan was already mentioned on our blog when they recruited a cheater. Now their admin Johny (xfire: kacper1234567) was caught by UAC with multihack. This clan thus proved that they are among those Polish clans, who do not give a duck about cheating. Link to the sinner's UAC profile was send also to DFX website. For two days it remained unnoticed by any admin, but now the website is not available anymore. Is that the end of this lame clan?

Series of self-busting by x-fire screens continues. This time a lack of intelligence was fatal for another ||T3||» clan player - Space (xfire: albertux777, GT: chillypepperspace, UAC: 298361), recruited to the clan only recently. I was asked by another ||T3||» member to check him as he had some suspicion. Though at first I found nothing apart from the fact, that his sister Bunny described him as "a cheater, cheating everywhere". In the end finding a bullet-proof evidence was easier than expected :)

link to screen in profile (enjoy as it might be deleted soon. EDIT: deleted 15.11. by Space)

Naturally, this punk is now clan-less.

UAC saved for now, new definition file for S4

UAC3 donations goal for September-November has been reached. I am proud that SWAT4 players contributed the most of the sum. Since we wrote the article on this blog, SWAT players donated over 100 € (not counting donations made by them before). Though I expected much more players donating small sums, in reality all this money was donated by only 5 people. Noteworthy could be, that the bigger/stronger the clan is, the less willing to donate its members are. Also some people claimed they would donate, but they are still taking their time.

Enough about this money thing. A new cheat definition file version 14 was released yesterday. Previous version was released over a half year ago. Let's wait if we see any new codes in cheaters' list.

Finally, though it's been mentioned widely, iShady (xfire: goldysoldier) was caught on UAC for the second time. After his première he was given a second chance. Critics of second chances must applause him now. After the second incident he left T3 clan without saying the reason but of course, very soon it was discovered. A bit funny is, that he was kicked also from Swat4 <<Vegetable Players>>.

    UAC3 possibly ending in November

UAC3 donations are needed, otherwise this anti-cheat service, so essential for fair SWAT4 gamers will be stopped in November. Reason is, that current amount of donations cannot cover the server costs. This was announced on UAC website.

If you decide to donate, simply click on the icon on UAC website. You can donate using your PayPal account or payment card. If you don't have such account nor card, you can still ask some of your friends or parents to donate - every 1 € counts and I am sure 99% of players can afford this.
    Advantages for donators:
    • donation status and icon in your profile. Let others now that you care about fair play!
    • no 15-seconds waiting time when joining a match
    • if your donation is high enough (currently more than 15 €), place in the TOP 25 donations page.
Currently, there are 7 people from SWAT4 community among top donators - two of them being authors of this blog (smelling self-promotion?):
If you are about to say, that UAC3 is here for too long then keep in mind, that for us UAC4 is not needed that much, as the cheat detection rate is around 99% (excluding INI changes, which are caused by flaws in the game architecture). Don't let the cheaters overtake the game and help all with your 1 €.

Catherine stays in {SWT}, «|SoH|» looses a tourno player

Internal discussion in {SWT} related to one of high-rank members Catherine caught on UAC is now over. With 11 votes for kicking her and 15 to let her be in clan, she remains unpunished. Let's have a look at the following quotation taken from the interview with Sonia alias {SWT}LoveMonkey made for our blog 3 months ago:
Q: If one of your friends was caught on UAC, would you do what most seem to do and give them a second chance (with a clean second account)?
A: I wouldn't give second chance because I think that sends the wrong message, if you ban a cheater then you must ban all cheaters even if they are your friends because if you don't it will send the message of "We hate cheating and we ban cheaters but if it's a friend he gets 2nd chance" :/ doesn't sound right or fair to me.

I would ban but still be friends xD if he still wants be my friend after that's another story xD
The gap between that opinion and today's reality is huge. But first of all it is Catherine (or as she says her cousin) who placed Sonia in this unpleasant situation.

Last weeks are very poor regarding new UAC cheaters, most probably also due to GameSpy issues. The only busted guy was «|SoH|»Tyrek caught with radar file in his game directory. He was also on roster of «|SoH|» Team 1 in the current KL VIP tournament, so as the rules imply, he is not anymore. As the cheater claimed he was caught for ACM so let me repeat: ACM is not seen as cheat by UAC3 (though many share opinion it should be). Once again cheater was also a liar. Tyrek was first kicked from the clan but then he was given back his admin status. Later that day he was kicked and banned again (as seen in his website profile). What comes next?

    UAC and xfire watch :)

Starting with UAC catches, the most interesting was a tripple catch of player using name Cagliari (link, link, link). What's important, that all these cheaters are linked to account used by {SWT}Catherine, one of high-rank members of this well-known clan. SWT is discussing the issue internally, however the time it takes indicates, that she won't be kicked from the clan. If you ask SWT directly, you will get response like this one.

Recently two Turkish players were caught. One of them was using name Charismatic. In the very first match I saw him, |WM|Michal found out he is using WH. He was asked to UAC, but before joining he disconnected and after some long minutes of removing cheats connected in a victorious mood. Couple of days later, truth came out.

Another player pT»Turkey« (xfire sunnytr) - member of Pt - Professional Team. First I saw him cheating on SWT server some days ago so I told admins, that being in their place I would call him on UAC. They tried, but as usually cheaters do he pretended he did not know what it is (at that time he already had UAC account). But too often cheater means liar. This "skiller" got finally caught today.

Two ||T3||» members were caught cheating Dr_MEGA and PwnzorLord (link). As written in forum, they were kicked from clan.

Lastly, couple of words about French B29 clan. Many of you had fun looking at the picture of one of leaders posted by him on xfire and having proof of using Wallhack on public server. Before, another member Xray was caught with WH/NRC and banned on our RD server. Both cheating affairs happened some time ago - recently I agreed to unban Xray, as he is using UAC now, though I have never did this before. If you check comments in the clan profile here on our blog you can see another ex-cheater joined the clan these days. After all this, all of them cannot be surprised when you call them on UAC after the slightest suspicion.

CJ vs Raptor - 5:6 (UAC watch)

Egyptian player CJ scored another point when he got caught on UAC as jjkl with radar clearly visible on screen, thus achieving a total of 5 UAC cheat accounts (jjkl, mero_123, a1430835, legend2001,  babygotowned). Unfortunately, that's still not enough to beat so "popular" Raptor with 6 such accounts (SoHRaptorSoH, rappy, badboy00007, naresh, sohhitman, SoHwindu). But CJ doesn't have to give up, he has already 5 more, not caught yet, accounts prepared (GuessWhat, warwarwarlol, youareowned, eslam_cj, doitifyoucan). Go, CJ, go!

Speaking of Raptor, shadow of his heroic past has reached ex-SoH Hitman, now playing for Kahuna Land. Since Hitman helped creating an UAC account for Raptor, UAC logs see the connection between these two players. Flamewar about this case was held not only in our Angerbox but also on UAC forum (which is sometimes not a good idea) and resulted in Hitman's ban on UAC. Also, he has to be removed from the upcoming KL tournament. However, things may change back, as UAC admin shii said he would try to find proof that the cheat account belongs to another person.

This can be a lesson for all UAC users:
    - never create account for someone else
    - never share your login information with anyone
    - never use someone else's account on your PC

EXOGER, member of Suspects Heaven community was caught with radar too. Afterwards, he was expelled from the community.

Polish ex-CoB Largo got detected while playing on SoH server. According to his GameTracker profile, he is now using name maxim.

Usually we don't write about cheaters from Central and South America, who would feel like reading those tons of text. One exception is ||AT||Blackmamba, leader of Argentinian community swat4argentina.foroargentina.net. Reportedly, he was pretty respected as a player with anti-cheat attitude. According to his own words, he got caught after he forgot deleting cheat files, that he had tried in order to proove those are not working on 1.1. Being it truth or not, it's one more lesson for all wanna-be testers: "do not play with fire".

Last interesting UAC catch was a DWMT co-leader Inside. He was having black screens in matches prior to the one when he got detected. Now I am only guessing, but maybe he thought that this will prevent his multihack form being detected. More about this catch and its consequences will be given in a separate article.

Apart from UAC catches, a Third Echelon cadet Anticop got caught with video proof. Shorty after that, he was kicked from the clan. Read full story here. His xfire profile says his nickname now is Masterchef.

    UAC watch

Since last UACW article, there was again a number of caught cheaters:

vilelav - probably not known to you, he is mostly TSS player from Portugal. When caught with radar on screen, he was a member of TSS clan named UBP, but after being reported to the clan leader he was fired from the clan.

    |KOS13|Horus - French player seen on 1.0 BS servers, mainly SWT where he was 3rd in GameTracker list. He was caught with radar and aimbot while playing on Suspects Heaven server.

Strumph and Manistra - Croatian players caught on HoP server with same IP, both trying the same cheat, I have no idea why the latter tried it after first of them was caught. Same story goes for TRENDSETTER, player from India.

budapest - little known 1.0 player. Interesting is, he was trying a so called SkyTech "cheat" as shown in video available on the Internet. The cheat file was nothing but a renamed harmless DLL present in clean S4 installations and used to make joke of cheat seekers. Pity it was bundled with an injector that got detected in this case.

xxx - co-leader of RUS1 clan had a multi-cheat - RADAR/WH/Aimbot/NRC. Although he tried pretending he had no idea what it was on UAC forum, he must had known very well about it. After he deleted the cheat file he used UAC on his other profile, this time without being detected.

Finally one non-UAC catch in a video made by player using name Me. in Angerbox (I think he does not wish to publish his usual name so I will respect it):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DYYHHI8c_g
Player |Fs|Mirko is using no-recoil and probably also radar or WH there. Fs site is down and this clan is neither a big fan of xfire, so any reaction towards this from their side is welcome.

    UACW

The latest updated cheaters include BS player Prima, who ironically used match ID 'primazebest' as he got caught, and Italian toddler iShady, who joins the famous list of T3 UAC cheaters.

UAC4 will likely not detect .ini modifications

The upcoming new version* of Universal Anti Cheat will likely not detect SWAT 4 .ini modifications just like its predecessor UAC 3. Editing .inis to gain an unfair advantage is achievable in v1.0, although it is blocked in 1.1, which was one of the main reasons the current BS tourney is being played over there.

*Upcoming could still mean many months, as a large amount of time has already surpassed since developer DeXuS said UAC 4 was 90% ready.

    Unpunished Cheaters

We wrote some 7 months ago an article about how cheating means very little anymore; with many clans accepting cheaters, either oblivious of their history or in the view of "Let's give them a second chance." Below is a list of players who have all easily joined clans despite being caught, and continue to play freely on most servers. The 'I didn't know' excuse used by clan leaders these days is now no more credible:

    Player Nick(s): SWAT_sk
Activity since being caught: This youngster has enjoyed a nice life, joining {|GA|} shortly after {BoS} closed and was then an admin in (MG) clan.

Player Nick(s): Assassin, WTH!, Hornet, E|ite, Candy, Raper, Skull, Vodka
Activity since being caught:  Arguably the greatest example of how blind modern clan leaders have been. Two cheater accounts, almost 20 clans in 18 months, yet this legend is likely to be your new clan mate tomorrow!

    Player Nick(s): GLaDOS, XoX_Cz
Activity since being caught: It is currently unknown to us what this player is up to these days, but the memorable line 'if our bro GLaDOS cheat 1000 time he will still be in the house" means that he shouldn't find it too difficult to find a new clan if he tried.

    Player Nick(s): Jameen
Activity since being caught:  Joined {|GA|}, since then it is unknown to us what the Indian player has been up to.

    Player Nick(s): KinG, Buddy
Activity since being caught: The Turkish player came back recently as the leader of GHT clan.

    Player Nick(s): PacMan
Activity since being caught: Has been rewarded for his cheating skills with elite admin power in T3 clan. Currently uses a third clean account likely not linked to old PC.

Player Nick(s): Runn3r, Hehe Kids, ReviveR
Activity since being caught: The Malaysian went into exile for a short while before joining {|GA|} and then also got re-accepted back into {SuR} when it restarted for the second time.

We have not included UAC cheaters who have remained in their respective clans after being caught. More community cheaters can be found at FoX|Mig's blog here.

    UAC watch

Pakistani player K_Torch was caught on a personal match ID four days ago which subsequently got his {SWT} recruitment application denied, while Moroccan player Patterson was recently caught on the cheater party ID sohsoh1, and was surprisingly kicked afterwards from the clan.

    UAC Watch

The latest UAC 1.0 cheaters are Assassin (who has since been kicked from SuR), and SoH clan member Wolf, who currently remains in the clan. The youngster had a clean match ID last week and was then caught during a war yesterday.

    XoX_Cz's cheating history

Some may remember the name {B4E}GLaDOS, the man who was caught by UAC on January 22nd this year, with screenshots showing folders named "SWAT 4 Hacks" visible on his desktop. After a tip-off from an anonymous person, we found that that his past history lied in Shadow of Heroes ViP clan - he used the nickname «|SoH|»XoX. He made his own free ucoz website showing videos of himself using hacks in SWAT 4 as well as supposedly providing links to where others could download them, which lead to him being kicked from SoH (you heard that right). We are told the site was taken down a few days after he was kicked.

Right now we are unaware as to which clan he resides in (if any), but a clan giving this player a third chance - after ex-B4E leader famously said: "if our bro GLaDOS cheat 1000 time he will still be in the house" -  is not out of the question.

    UAC celebrates 6th birthday

Universal Anti-Cheat today enjoyed its 6th year of existence. According to the website a whopping 682 cheaters from SWAT 4 have been caught, out of just under 5500 overall cheaters. For an interesting historical overview of the program and how it has evolved over the years, visit http://www.dexus5.com.

    UAC, April-fools and more

The latest "high-profile" UAC 1.0 cheater was polish player Sonny, although arguments have risen since this incident, as many of his close friends 'know' that he does not cheat (in 1.1), while the player himself states he was "testing 1.0 cheats a long time ago and forgot to remove them". It brings up the same old topic; since UAC doesn't state whether cheats were in use or not, are more innocent players being banned, or is it completely their fault for clicking "I agree" when UAC warns them not to use cracked games with possible pre-included cheats?

In other news, it seems clans did not share many public April 1st Fools jokes - UAC themselves used an "International Space Station" joke on their website, with the first ever earth-space LAN party and laser datas from the Eiffel Tower to compensate for the lag. More of that here

    UAC update

Today saw a few famous past UAC cheaters resurface again; firstly {SuR}RunneR, who was caught for the second time this morning, and more famously SoH leader Raptor, who created multiple accounts --> http://uac.ac/#player/id=249137  and http://uac.ac/#player/id=239389, with screenshots showing him using the WebAdmin when it was made clear by co-leader Windu that he had been 'suspended' from clan.

Meanwhile, UAC is not likely to support many cracked games in future updates.  This would mean less people are able to use the program but would also cut the "I didn't know my game had cheats included" excuse.
